F.A.Q.

Here are some answers to some

common questions and concerns.

Q - What happens if I accidentally used heat to wash and/or dry my Tee?
A - This is more common than you think, and actually isn’t as detrimental as it seems. Although heat is used to adhere the vinyl, excess heat will cause the glue to reactivate and the vinyl will begin to separate. If you’re lucky, nothing will happen at all the first time...as long as you try to remember not to use heat during the wash/dry cycle multiple times.

Q - The vinyl on my Tee is bubbling and/or separating at the edges. Can I salvage it?
A - Absolutely! As long as you have an iron and a pillowcase/parchment paper, you’re in luck! First, set your iron to the “cotton” setting, and make sure the design looks how you want it to (meaning everything is in its place and there are no missing pieces). You can secure curled edges with heat-resistant tape, if it helps. Next, you can either use parchment paper or a pillowcase to provide a heat barrier over your design. If using a pillowcase, make sure it’s a light color if your Tee is white, as the heat can cause the dyes in the fabric to bleed. Gently run your iron over the design, being careful to NEVER place the iron directly onto the vinyl. It should only take about 5 minutes for the design to re-adhere. Make sure the Tee is cool to the touch before you peel away any tape you might’ve used. Always wash your Tee in cool water and dry on low heat, to prevent future bubbling from occurring.

Q - Why is my Tee taking so long to process?
A - Our Tees are made custom-to-order, so depending on the design/time of order, it could take longer than a few days to be shipped out. I personally hand-weed designs and adhere them myself one at a time, and put my love into each project. We hope to build our brand further so that we can eventually introduce a process that is more efficient. Until then, we appreciate your patience awaiting your custom handmade Tee!
